Hey there! My name is Rebecca - I'm a Graphic and Packaging Designer based in Toronto, Canada.
I've been working full-time in the design industry since July 2019 and have had the opportunity to work with a myriad of global brands including (but not limited to) Starbucks, Tropicana, Quaker and Gatorade (PepsiCo), Miss Vickies, Ruffles, and Doritos (Frito Lay) as well as Kraft Peanut Butter, KD - formerly Kraft Dinner and Philadelphia Cream Cheese (Kraft-Heinz).
My post-secondary education covered a broad range of design including package design, web design, typography, brand design, copywriting, editorial design, illustration, and photography.
A few important things about me when it comes to design:
1. I am a supporter and contributor to big ideas.
2. I make sure to deliver on a brief, but expect some added wild card designs.
3. I will ask lots of questions (which is a good thing in my opinion).
4. I sketch all my designs before going digital - it's just good practice.
5. Sustainability and the environment are a top priority for me.
Another important thing about me - I'm a very positive, eager, and determined person (I mean look at that face in the picture - if that doesn't scream go-getter, I don't know what does).
And finally, I have a beautiful boxer mix puppy named Pekoe (like orange pekoe tea) and you will be subjected to pictures of her.
